Promoting patient education and research

With nearly 150,000 people a year undergoing joint replacement in the UK, more can be done to advance the understanding of all orthopaedic patients - and Joint Replacement Models facilitate this need. All of the models are accurate and sophisticated educational tools, specifically designed for this purpose.

Investing in any model of your choice includes a donation to Joint Action, the charity which sponsors research into orthopaedic surgery.

All orders received from the current promotions in the Sunday newspapers ensure that a 10% donation will be made to Joint Action.

Medical Models

The models illustrate the look and feel of real implants as well as the changes made to the joint during surgery.

  • Patients can see how the surgery actually works
  • Patients can own a unique memento of their joint replacement.
  • Patients can illustrate the procedure to family and friends

  • The modular design enables orthopaedic surgeons and patient educators to explain each part of the joint replacement surgical procedure.

  • All the models are ideal for the patient's informed consent.
  • Also effective in post-operative rehabilitation.

  • At least 5% from each purchase is donated to Joint Action, the charitable arm of the British Orthopaedic Association, 35-43 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3PE.

  • Beautifully engineered - an amazing simulacrum.
  • Patented design, manufactured in the United Kingdom.
